It has been an awesome week! On Tuesday I went to the Anti-Human Trafficking Rally at Foolish Things Coffee in Tulsa. The prevention of human trafficking is something that I have been passionate about for several years now, I was amazed that this is happening right here in Oklahoma to children as young as six years old. I am so grateful that I had the chance to talk with several human trafficking and domestic violence organizations like Beautiful Dream Society, Dayspring Villa, The Demand Project, DVIS (Domestic Violence Intervention Services), the Tulsa Police Department, and Unlock Freedom. I learned so much about human trafficking and I was really inspired and motivated to help these organizations spread awareness.
Here is a video that the Tulsa World covered on the event.

On Friday I went to Broken Arrow High School with Unlock Freedom for an assembly! I got to pass out bracelets and flyers that had information about staying safe online and the warning signs of traffickers. I got to talk to some of the students after the assembly and they mentioned that they learned a lot and were inspired to volunteer and make a change. That was one of the most rewarding parts of the whole experience. I can't wait to continue my journey with Unlock Freedom in helping them spread awareness.
